Hardik Pandya shared an emotional message on his social media account along with his elder brother Krunal on Wednesday.
The Pandya brothers are part of the Indian squad which is taking on England in the T20 international series.
Hardik, who played in the first match on July 3, posted a picture with Krunal and wrote an emotional message along with it after the first match at Old Trafford.
"From building partnerships on a local ground in Baroda to standing together in the INDIA kit at Old Trafford, this has been one hell of a journey. As kids, we dreamt about representing India and after going through many ups and downs together, today we are here... together.
"Honestly, I don't know how to express this feeling but to have Krunal Pandya on my side in the India camp makes me extremely emotional and proud," Hardik wrote.
Hardik has been an important cog in India's wheel in all three formats of late thanks to his all-round abilities on the cricket field. His brother however, is yet to break into the playing XI.
All-rounder Krunal was called into the T20I team as a replacement for Washington Sundar, who injured his right ankle during Indian team's training session at the Malahide Cricket Club, Dublin on June 26.
The 27-year-old has been rewarded for his consistent performances for Mumbai Indians in the last two editions of the Indian Premier League, while Deepak Chahar, who replaced injured Jasprit Bumrah in the squad, got rewarded for his good performance in the domestic tournaments and the ongoing India A team's tour of England.
If he gets a chance to play in any of the upcoming matches then Krunal and and Hardik Pandya will become the third brother duo to represent India after Mohinder Amarnath and Surinder Amarnath and Pathan brothers -- Irfan and Yusuf.
Hardik meanwhile, is in very good form at the moment after having picked up a wicket in the first T20I against England in Manchester earlier this week. He also took 1 wicket and scored 38 runs in the two T20Is against Ireland before this series.
He got the wicket of Moeen Ali as India crushed England by 8 wickets to take a 1-0 lead in the three-match series.
The Men in Blue restricted the hosts to 159 for 8 after electing to bowl first with Kuldeep Yadav taking a five-wicket haul, his first and India's third in T20 international cricket.
KL Rahul then proved his class with the bat as he smashed 101 not out, his second hundred in T20Is, to take India past the finish line in the 19th over.
